Being acclaimed for its unique style, DC’sThe Flashmade the character of Barry Allen way famous before his introduction in the DCEU/DCU. Portrayed byGrant Gustin, the series has been hailed as one of the finest as people continue to watch it even after 8 seasons.

With Barry Allen returning for one more time in the ninth and finals season of the CW show, people were delighted to hear the return of two more beloved iconic characters. From the earlier seasons, Teddy Sears and John Wesley Shipp have been announced to reprise their respective roles in the final season.

Teddy Sears, who first appeared in the second season ofThe Flash,portrayed the character of Jay Garrick. In 2017, it was revealed that the character of Garrick was actually the villain Hunter Zolomon aka Zoom in the series. Eric Wallace, the showrunner of the series was elated to share the news with people around the world.
