What Do We ‘Actually’ Know About Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth?

So far, we’ve only had two trailers for the game. One was the reveal trailer, while the other was the gameplay trailer shown off at Summer Games Fest earlier this year. The game kicks off where its predecessor leaves off.

Cloud Strife and his friends have left Midgar and continue their journey in pursuit of Sephiroth. The game will ship on two discs, which made some fans very nostalgic, and it will initially only be available on PlayStation, similar to its predecessor andFinal Fantasy 16. Square Enix hasn’t specified a release date yet, instead only stating that the game will release in March 2024.

Square Enix has recently been putting a huge emphasis on theFinal Fantasyfranchise for the company’s profits. In fact, it was recently revealed that the company faced a $2 billion loss in value. The future of theFinal FantasyIP still looks bright despite this, and I, for one, cannot wait forFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirth.
