Kisuke Urahara’s Bankai inBleach: Thousand-Year Blood War
Kisuke Urahara is a former captain of the 12th Division who now lives in the Human World and runs a small convenience store that sells Shinigami products. Urahara is a master swordsman, with powerful attacks and equally great speed behind them. Urahara’s Bankai Kannonbiraki Benihime Aratame takes the form of a huge lady with dark braided hair arranged in loops on her head and mannequin-like arms wearing a revealing red gown, but Urahara keeps his sealed sword for combat. His Bankai has the potential to remodel anything it touches, for both offensive and supportive purposes.
Offensively, it can split open whatever is inside its region of effect, as if cutting with a knife. It can help to reconstruct something by sewing it back together. This can be used to heal. It can also be utilized to improve something’s performance. Urahara can also use it to clear the way for others to pass through hurdles or roadblocks.

Shunsui Kyoraku’s Bankai inBleach: Thousand-Year Blood War
Shunsui Kyoraku is the captain of the 1st Division and Captain-Commander of the Gotei 13. He is a former captain of the 8th Division. Shunsui activates his Bankai Katen Kyokotsu: Karamatsu Shinju, sending black, root-like tendrils to spread from him as his Zanpakuto Spirit, Katen Kyokotsu, appears behind him. It’s an extremely powerful and dangerous Bankai that influences the region around him as well, distorting the perspective of the reality of the individuals within it.
The Bankai is divided into four stages, each representing a different drama or story from Japanese culture. The first phase is known as Bushogama. This generates a black wind that injures anyone who tries to move through it. The second stage is named Zanki No Shitone. This level causes Shunsui’s wounds to manifest on his opponent. The third stage is titled Dango No Fuchi. Shunsui constructs an illusion of a deep and black pit in which he and his opponent plummet eternally, with the one who falls first dying. The fourth stage is called Itokiribasami Chizome No Nodobue. In this final stage, Shunsui conjures a massive pair of scissors capable of cutting the strands of his opponent’s life, resulting in his opponent’s death.
