It was released amidst the period when Brad Pitt’s naked photo had gone viral, and his name was on everyone’s lips. Later the singer revealed that she never had any connection with theBullet Trainstar. The singer said that she got the inspiration for the song from the Brad Pitt andGwyneth Paltrowpictures scandal. She said,
“I was writing this album and there was a scandal of Brad [Pitt] and Gwyneth [Paltrow] where there were naked photos of him [in Playgirl magazine, which Pitt later successfully sued for publishing the paparazzi photos]. And this was like all the rage. I just thought ‘I don’t know what all the fuss is about.’”
She added,
“I’m like, ‘Well that don’t impress me much.’ I mean what is all the fuss? We see people naked every day. That’s really what I thought.”
Twain revealed that she was not picking on Brad Pitt particularly, and he was just an association at the moment. It was about the people making a fuss about it and could have been any other gorgeous guy.

What was Brad Pitt’s Reaction To Being Name-Dropped In Twain’s song?
Despite a huge scandal about his name and name-dropping by Twain,The Lost City star chose not to comment on it. At the People’s Choice Awards 2022, the singer performed her scandalous song, but this time, she replaced Pitt with Ryan Reynolds. It was a massive shock for the fans and media.
TheMr. & Mrs. Smithstar was asked how he felt as his name in the song was replaced by Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds. Pitt replied in a cool manner,
“He didn’t steal it. I think we can share the wealth there. Ryan’s a good egg, too. He deserves some love.”
The actor also offered names for Twain, which included, Austin Butler and Leo. Apparently, Brad Pitt was never affected by the song, which revealed that he could take a light-hearted joke on himself.
Twain was asked if Brad Pitt ever reached out to her because of name-dropping in her song, which she denied. She said,
“I wrote about Brad Pitt. I never met Brad Pitt. I think he’s avoiding me — honestly.”
Given the general reaction of Brad Pitt to the song, it is unlikely that there is any hostility between the two.
