Chrono Odyssey allows you to pick from three distinct classes: the Swordsman, the Berserker, and the Ranger.

Chrono Odyssey’s beta playtest is now live, and players have already sunk hours into the game. The game has three classes available as part of the Chrono Odyssey playtest, and these classes couldn’t be any more different.

The first among this group of classes is theBerserker Class, which is an aggressive class that prioritizes hack-and-slash gameplay. The second class is the Swordsman class. This is more like a traditional RPG Knight class and sees you relying on sword-and-shield-style gameplay. This class balances offensive and defensive gameplay. The final class is theRanger class, which sees you fighting from range using a bow or a crossbow. If it comes down to it, a Ranger is also able to hold their own in close range.

Each of the classes has a distinct playstyle, and there really is no wrong answer when it comes to picking the perfect beginner class. It depends largely on the playstyle you wish to master. But if you really want us to pick one,we’ll recommend the Ranger class.

The enemies in Chrono Odyssey are fairly challenging, and the Ranger class allows you to deal with these enemies from a distance. you may study their attack patterns and their aggression and use the information to inform your own playstyle, all while staying in your comfort zone far away.

The Ranger class specializes in the Bow, the Crossbow, and the Rapier. The Bow is a perfectly serviceable ranged weapon in its own right but is easily overshadowed by the Crossbow. The Crossbow is a beast of a weapon that shreds enemies from range.

It is to be noted that fighting from a distance is more than a choice – it is a necessity. The Ranger is more or less made of glass, and you’ll definitely die faster than you would like should a fight be forced at melee range. Still, this is a good way for you to master your defense. Pair your ranged attacks up with the right mobility skills, and you’ll be as annoying as a bee.
