Marvel’s Spider-Man 2dropped a week ago and players have already found glitches and bugs that can decrease the amount of time spent grinding in the game. One such bug is regarding the Symbiote Nest side quests, which can instantly be completed with just a change of attire.

A sequel to Insomniac Games’Spider-Manand a follow-up toSpider-Man: Miles Morales,Spider-Man 2captures the struggles of Miles Morales and Peter Parker in saving New York City. Parker can unlock the Symbiote Suit by progressing through the main story. The black-colored suit reminiscent of Tobey Maguire’sSpider-Man 3apparel is needed to complete the Symbiote Nest side quest.
How To CompleteMarvel’s Spider-Man 2Symbiote Nest Side Quest Instantly?
An X user going by the username of @Critagiri shared gameplay footage in which they could be seen completing one part of the Symbiote Nest side quest by switching their attire. Initially, they wore the Anti-Venom suit. When the waves for the side mission completion were activated, they quickly switched to the Symbiote Suit.
The result was that theSpider-Man 2Symbiote Nest side quest was completed. As seen in the footage, the nest burst even though the player did not hit a single enemy or defend a point. Players who opted to complete the quest without the game-breaking bug struggled due to the hordes of enemies that ran toward the multiple hot spots.

The same user stated the side quest can be completed by switching “a suit with black webbing to a suit with normal/white webbing or vice versa.” For instance, if you wear an Anti-Venom suit and change to the Symbiote Suit after activating a Nest wave, one-half of the entire quest will be completed. Players are required to destroy 10 Symbiote Nests to complete the mission.
Fans were a bit disheartened to see that a simple trick can end the hours-long grind. No more sonic booms or different strategies to defend two-heart nests.

How To Unlock Symbiote Suit and Anti-Venom Suit?
Peter Parker has some of the best options when it comes to suits and their respective gadgets. That being said, here are how you can obtain the Symbiote Suit and the Anti-Venom suit. Spoilers regarding the missions are mentioned below.
The Symbiote Suit inMarvel’s Spider-Man 2can be obtained by completing the main story mission titled ‘Good Men’, which occurs midway through the gameplay. Peter Parker will obtain the Venom symbiote once he embarks on the mission to save Dr. Connors from Kraven’s captivity along with Harry and Mary Jane.
Speaking of the Anti-Venom suit, it can be obtained after completing the main story mission titled ‘Set Things Right’, which requires players to clear a symbiote infestation at City Hall. The suit is a negative inversion of the Venom costume that is inspired by the original one found in Marvel Comics. The white-and-black prints seem wonderful.
The aforementioned two suits can be switched to complete the Symbiote Nest side quest.
