James Gunn is certainly not the man he was all those years ago. Having a different mindset and a more professional outlook, Gunn essentially realized that people do not need to know every thought that he has in his mind. In 2012, the director commented about all the actors who had portrayed the role of Batman. Stating that there was always something wrong with the actor, Gunn had some pretty harsh words for the movies.
Digging around in Gunn’s backyard, the comments were uncovered and spread on the internet as Gunn went on to humiliate Michael Keaton, Christopher Nolan, Jack Nicholson, and Tim Burton.

“I have problems with both of Nolan’s films – I don’t think either one is classic, and I don’t even really think Batman Begins is good.”
The comments were recovered recently and soon after this,James Gunn’sFacebook account was supposedly deactivated. Fans speculated that the reason for the deactivation would be these controversial comments but James Gunn says otherwise.

Gunn revealed that to secure his account, it had been temporarily disabled and also called out the websites that alleged that the account got deactivated due to the 2012 comments.

“What happens… and then the broad assumptions made by certain sites. I haven’t been on FB in so long I don’t even know how to answer the questions to get back on.”
Although Gunn might be telling the truth, some people are still unconvinced. Taking to Twitter, people started tweeting against the co-head of the DC Studios.

Well, James Gunn’s defense hasn’t been confirmed but the director has not denied that he made these comments all those years ago. If this were to somehow gain more traction, Gunn could potentially lose his job as the co-head of the DC Studios!
