Stone faced a similar scenario on the sets of one of her films, where she was so out of tune and frustrated with her co-star that in the heat of the moment, she made him bleed.

While shooting for her then-upcoming crime drama filmAlpha Dog,Stone was supposed to shoot a scene with Ben Foster where they would battle each other. While she wanted to have a make-believe fight, her co-star wanted to show the raw and rustic nature of the scene, which demanded her to throw real punches. Despite declining many times, Foster still insisted on it, even getting physical about it. With her back against the wall and reaching the limit, theCatwomanstar snapped and punched him hard enough to make his nose bleed. In a past interview, she said:
“I was trying to hit him without hurting him, but to make it work for the scene. And he just wouldn’t let me, I was doing the scene, and he really came into me. He forced me to aggress him and he forced me to hit him. He just kept pushing me and pushing me and I just lost it. He made me hit him until it broke my heart. It was so awful and his nose started to bleed,”
Just proves that everyone has their limits, and pushing someone past theirs can have dire consequences.
