The animation in removing Cavill’s mustache cost DC an extra $24 million…which is more than Dwayne Johnson’s salary forBlack Adam!

After Zack Snyder stepped down as the director of his version ofJustice League,director Joss Whedon had to take over. Stepping away from the vision of Snyder, the movie underwent reshooting. Henry Cavill had to return for his role of Superman for the reshoots but with a mustache that was not to be shaved.

It is alleged that DC Studios had to spend an extra $24 million in CGI for the removal ofHenry Cavill’sbeard and mustache! Talking to The Sun,The Witcheractor joked about the not-so-good CGI effect used.
