How to Upload Multiple Files to GoDaddy with Filezilla(Ubuntu)
Filezilla is free ftp client that lets you download and upload file to your remote server . While uploading large files like website backup you might have face problem with file manager of Godaddy server.I faced the same problem . Whiling conveying the same to customer support of Godaddy they advice me to use ftp client like Filezilla for the files bigger than 100 Mb. Which actually work for me. Installing Filezilla in Ubuntu 12.04
For ubuntu type the following command in the terminal

For windows download and install Filezilla from here.
How to transfer file using Filezilla
You will need host name or the host ip address and username and password. you may find these under Godaddy hosting account.
Launch the application Fill in the entries and click on quick connect.

Once you see the connection establish confirmation just drag and drop your files under remote sites and uploading will get started.
If you faceFilezilla connection timed out could not connect to serverError simply change the timeout setting to 0 sec.
