While the majority of the entertainment industry refuses to work with director Clint Eastwood, actress Angelina Jolie has a different opinion of the director. She starred in his 2008 film,Changeling. In the past, Tom Hanks revealed that Eastwood treats his actors like “horses,” and Leonardo DiCaprio’s experience working with the director wasn’t good either.

The movie was made on a budget of $55 million and it managed to gross just over $151 million worldwide. To date, it is considered to be one of Jolie’s best works.

In 2008, Jolie attended the Hollywood Film Festival Gala and talked about working with Clint Eastwood,
“There are some people in this business that are icons, and we often wonder if, when we meet them, they’ll live up to what we imagine them to be and Clint Eastwood in person is even better … Clint is what every great director should be. He is a great leader. And I certainly would follow him anywhere.”
Around that time, Eastwood claimed that people often overlook Jolie’s talent because of her beauty and also compared her to Meryl Streep.

Eastwood’s reputation in the entertainment industry isn’t really great. Tom Hanks once revealed that the director treats his actors like horses,
“You certainly don’t want one of those Eastwood looks. He treats his actors like horses because when he did the 60s series Rawhide, the director would shout ‘Action!’ and all the horses bolted. So when he’s in charge, he says in a really quiet soft voice, ‘All right, go ahead,’ and instead of shouting, ‘Cut!’ he says, ‘That’s enough of that.’ It’s intimidating as hell!”
Leonardo DiCaprio worked in Eastwood’s 2011 movieJ. Edgar. While working on the film, DiCaprio demanded the director to re-shoot a scene, however, the director wrapped up and refused to do so.
