Meghan Markle, before being married to Prince Harry and becoming the Duchess of Sussex, was a well-known and respected actress. Upon marrying Prince Harry, Markle decided to let go of her profession, becoming an American member of the British royal family and former actress.
One would expect Prince Harry to have been aware of the things that came with being an actress, however, this does not seem to be the case. This is because, in his memoirSpare,he talked about the time he was mortified and surprised to find out that his wife had an intimate scene in her hit television series.

Prince Harry Started To WatchSuitsWhen He Started Dating Meghan Markle
Meghan Markleplayed a central role in the highly successful television series,Suits,starring actors like Gabriel Macht, Patrick J. Adams, and Gina Torres. This is one of her most famous roles that helped her establish herself and showcase her acting abilities in all their forms. It is only natural that when Prince Harry and her started to date, two years before their wedding, the actor was curious about who the former actress was. According toThe New York Post, the Duke of Sussex wrote exactly this in his memoir,Spare.
“I’d made the mistake of googling and watching some of her love scenes online,”he penned in his book.
He revealed that he got quite curious about Markle’s professional life and decided to look her up on the internet. Rather than watching her acting in the series, however, the Prince got more invested and interested in the fact that the former actress has shot intimate scenes for the series alongside Adams, who played her on-screen love interest in the series.

Prince Harry Was Horrified
This turned out to be a big mistake on Prince Harry’s part, as revealed in his memoir according toThe New York Post, as the Duke of Sussex has quite an interestingly odd reaction to it. He revealed that he was pretty much traumatized after seeing this, stating that suddenly watching his future wife getting intimate with her co-star onscreen.
“I’d witnessed her and a castmate mauling each other in some sort of office or conference room… It would take electric shock therapy to get those images out of my head. I didn’t need to see such things live,”Harry sighed.
While this is quite a common practice in Hollywood and all actors have to face conflict with this at some point or the other in their personal and professional lives, Prince Harry wasn’t all too accustomed to it. He added that watching these scenes made him want to get electro-shock therapy so that he could forget that he ever viewed them.
