Despite quite a controversial and disliked ending for the series, the show had enough of a following that it could continue to tell the story of this unique kingdom and continue its world-building through its spin-off, prequel series,House of Dragon. While this show also became very well-liked very quickly, this seems to have not been the end of its spin-off shows, as HBO announced a much-anticipated series.
