Brad Pitt’s name appears in many successful Hollywood films. Pitt experienced tremendous fame and money in the 1990s after being described as a Hollywood heartthrob. Following the success of Pitt’s 1991 film Thelma & Louise, the 59-year-old actor was approached for a number of major projects.
Everything he touched was a success, and many people went to the theatres to see a movie because Pitt was in it. Every project Pitt worked on brought him greater attention, but there was one picture that Pitt apparently regretted working in.

Brad Pitt explained the hard time he came across on the set ofThe Devil’s Own
Brad Pittsigned the movieThe Devil’s Ownand he explained that the movie makers were very irresponsible. The movie was released on 24 August 2025 and it was directed by Alan J. Pakula. In the initial days of filming when the 59-year-old actor walked on the set he realized the script for the movie was missing.
In an interview, theBabylonactor talked about how pissed he was when he was informed that they didn’t have anything to shoot. Pitt stated that,
“We had no script. Well, we had a great script but it got tossed for various reasons. To have to make something up as you go along… what pressure! It was ridiculous. It was the most irresponsible bit of filmmaking – if you may even call it that – that I’ve ever seen. I couldn’t believe it. I don’t know why anyone would want to continue making that movie. We had nothing.”
He further added,
“The movie was the complete victim of this drowning studio head … who said, ‘I don’t care. We’re making it. I don’t care what you have. Shoot something.”
Pitt was so disappointed because of the irresponsible behavior of the makers that wanted to quit the film. TheBullet Trainactor was told it would cost him $63 million since it had already been sold around the world with the condition that he stars in it.

Harrison Ford explained why he couldn’t agree with Brad Pitt
In the same movie,The Devil’s OwnHarrison Fordwas also part of the cast. He was approached by the makers after Pitt made sure the makers of the movie had a script in their hands. In an interview, Ford talked about his experience while working with theTroyactor. Ford who played the role of Sergeant Tom in the movieThe Devil’s Ownsaid,
“Brad developed the script. Then they offered me the part. I saved my comments about the character and the construction of the thing — I admired Brad. First of all, I admire Brad. I think he’s a wonderful actor. He’s a really decent guy. But we couldn’t agree on a director until we came to Alan Pakula, who I had worked with before but Brad had not.”

Ford said he and Pitt both had different ideas for the story of the film but they both stuck with their own perspectives. The 80-year-old actor said he understood why Pitt had that point o view but he also had some reasons why he wasn’t ready to say yes to Pitt’s idea.
