And while Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise have kept their opinions about each other to themselves, the actress once spoke out about her marriage with the actor. She stated that she felt as if her role was reduced to being Tom Cruise’s supporter and not a star of her own.

Nicole KidmanandTom Cruisetied the knot in 1990 and over ten later, they parted ways. Despite being in movies likeAquamanandJust Go with It,Kidman felt as if her stardom was only because of Cruise. She told a magazine that whenever she would accompany her then-husband to events, she would feel as if her job was to just sit still and look pretty.
“I felt I became a star only by association. We would go to the Oscars and I would think, ‘I’m here to support him.’ I felt it was my job to put on a beautiful dress and be seen and not heard.
However, Kidman now feels absolutely content in her marriage withKeith Urbanwho she deemed a“Greater lover.”Kidman sure found her one true love! The couple shares two beautiful daughters, Sunday Rose, and Faith Margaret.

Keith Urban Triumphs Over Tom Cruise
During an appearance onCBS Mornings,Kidman opened up about her relationship with Urban, who she states is the best thing that has happened to her in her entire life. Kidman and Urban tied the knot in 2006. In the interview, she stated,
“I met him later in life and it’s been the best thing that’s ever happened to me. That man is the best thing that’s ever happened to me.”
Kidman elaborated on how they were absolutely perfect for each other recalling their 15thwedding anniversary in 2021. While the actress chose to post a sensual photo of her and Urban on Instagram, Urban took the more adorable route, posting a photo of them in front of a Christmas tree. Kidman stated that this meant they were the perfect mix!
“Keith’s [photo] was us in our pajamas. Mine was a little more…what does that say about us? We’re a mix. We’re very suited [for each other]. I’m incredibly lucky to have him.”
It doesn’t get more adorable than this! It’s been about 17 years since the couple made it official and it looks like the love is growing stronger with each passing year. Is there anything more beautiful than two people in love?
