Chris Brewster, Charlie Cox’s Daredevil stuntman, recently spoke out about his dissatisfaction with Marvel’s handling of the character. Brewster said thatShe-Hulk‘s depiction of Daredevil was bad when he appeared on a podcast to discuss the show.

Brewster specifically criticizedShe-Hulk: Attorney at Lawfor its“bad”and“cartoony”depiction of Daredevil. Even though Brewster had nothing to do with the character’s revival by Marvel Studios, he voiced his displeasure with the choices that have been made for the character.
“I think that, now that the MCU has taken over the character, I think they are really, really hurting it. If you watch She-Hulk, they turned Daredevil into a cartoon. It’s all animated and it looks bad.”

Action sequences inShe-Hulkwere a highlight of the Disney+ show, but he thinks they’ve lost some of their heft and visceral quality due to the heavy reliance on CGI. Brewster is disappointed with Marvel’s treatment of Daredevil.
