Brewster specifically criticizedShe-Hulk: Attorney at Lawfor its“bad”and“cartoony”depiction of Daredevil. Even though Brewster had nothing to do with the character’s revival by Marvel Studios, he voiced his displeasure with the choices that have been made for the character.

Action sequences inShe-Hulkwere a highlight of the Disney+ show, but he thinks they’ve lost some of their heft and visceral quality due to the heavy reliance on CGI. Brewster is disappointed with Marvel’s treatment of Daredevil.

Fans have been divided over the differences in aesthetics betweenDaredevilon Netflix andShe-Hulkin the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Netflix show’s dark and realistic take on the character, with its frequent scenes of violence, made it a fan favorite.

Despite widespread backlash, some have defended Marvel Studios’ handling of Daredevil’s cameo inShe-Hulk. The actress who plays Titania on the show, Jameela Jamil, weighed in on the discussion, arguing that the legal comedy’s treatment of Daredevil deserved praise.

Given the time betweenDaredevilSeason 3 andShe-Hulk, this is in keeping with the more seasoned Daredevil depicted in the MCU. WhileShe-Hulk’scomedic tone may have put some viewers off, it appears Daredevil will get his chance to shine in projects that align with the mood of his Netflix show.
