Kathryn Newton, the rising star who plays Cassie Lang inAnt-Man 3, has recently opened up about her deep admiration for Robert Downey Jr., famously known as Iron Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
In an interview with BBC Radio 1, Newton shared that she hoped to be a part of another Marvel movie and expressed her belief that the character of Iron Man has been a bigger part of her life than some of her friends. Not only did Newton talk about her love for Marvel, but she also shared her exciting experience of wearing a superhero suit for the first time.

Newton was thrilled to see people dressed up as Cassie Lang and Kang at the premiere ofAnt-Man 3. She hopes the next generation grows up with these characters and loves them. Newton wants to be part of a bigger thing than just a movie and be in another Marvel movie.

They did a 3D body scan, and six months later, they engineered an entire suit. The suit was purple, her favorite color, and it fit her like a glove. Newton was blown away by how differently people treat you when you’re in a superhero suit. She felt like a different person, and it was a big deal.

“I think it’s important to have a next generation. If I’m lucky enough to be in a Marvel movie again, I don’t know that I am. But I think that I saw Iron Man when I was eight. So that character has been a part of my life more than some of my friends.”
