What Other Insomniac Universe Spin-Offs Could We See In The Future?
When it comes to theSpider-Manuniverse, there are a lot of stories that can be told, but for some gamers, there are a few specific stories that they would like to see come to their consoles sometime in the future, and thanks to Reddit, we now have a list of some of the most requested storylines that players would love to see brought to life by Insomniac Games. Below is a list of five different stories that Reddit users have discussed and that look interesting, to say the least.
Spider-Man Origins
Everyone who knows Peter Parker’sSpider-Manknows his origin story, but for some gamers, they feel it would be a nice change of pace to take a rewind in the InsomniacSpider-Manuniverse and see how this version ofSpider-Mancame to be who he is today. This could open up a whole new avenue for players to explore Peter Parker’s story.
As we have already seen, Insomniac Games goes all out regarding the current stories forSpider-Man, and to see how they portray the origins ofSpider-Manwould be an interesting and most likely sad experience, which has become a staple of the franchise as so far each game has ended on some form of sad note.
The main aspect that people want to see regardingSpider-Manorigins is based on gameplay, as they would like to see a more childish Peter Parker who is still in high school, struggling to balance his daily life and beingSpider-Man. while also adding more flare and fun to the web swinging as Peter goes back to learning the ropes just likeMiles Moralesin his solo game.

Even though withinMarvel’s Spider-Man 2, we will see some form of backstory regardingVenom, players are hoping that Insomniac will create a new universe for aVenomstoryline that allows players the opportunity to take control of the chaotic symbiote as they rampage through New York, causing chaos for the residents who live there.
The main question that would be asked regarding aVenomgame would be if it would be more focused onVenombeing a villain and the player having to take on the role of being the villain, or will the story follow the same lines as the films and turnVenommore into a vigilante who will still kill people, but do it for the right reasons?
For now, many Reddit users are just hoping that a futureVenomgame will be in development and could potentially follow the films by having numerous Symbiotes fight for supremacy within New York in a form of gang war to see which Symbiote comes out on top. Spider-Man 2099
With the newSpider-Man: Across the Spider-Versefilm that has been released this year, many fans of the wall crawler have now been exposed to so many ideas regarding future game concepts. The main concept that has caught the eye of many gamers is aSpider-Man 2099game, which could change the entire way that gamers seeSpider-Man.
The first thing players think of when it comes toSpider-Man 2099is the tall neon buildings that seem to reach indefinitely into the sky and can create an all-new form of maneuverability forSpider-Man, as players will be provided with all new options to explore. Another feature that could be implemented is the use of flying cars, which can potentially be used to drag the player through the skies and create all new combos for players to utilize.

Regarding the storySpider-Man 2099, there are a few theories from fans as to what the story could be, as some believe that if Insomniac gave it the same love and care that they have given to the currentSpider-Manuniverse, then there could be some interesting moments within the story that could cause a lot of chaos for players but will also be unique and exciting to see.
Spider-Gwen
Another character that has become popular recently due to the success of theSpider-Man Into/Across the Spider-versefilms isSpider-Gwen, and due to this popularity, many gamers have been hoping that Insomniac Games could create a game for her, which can give players a whole new perspective on the game asSpider-Gwenis rather unique in theSpider-Manfranchise.
Regarding the story, there would be a few different options that Insomniac Games could follow, but one that would intrigue most players is similar toSpider-ManOrigins. The main change to this would be to see Gwen Stacey grow up through high school and take up the mantle ofSpider-Gwenwith her own origin story.
WithSpider-Gwen, there is also the potential for a complete change of New York, as Insomniac Games could decide to alter the world itself to fit in with a new hero, which could add in new exploration locations or even change existing locations to make it into an alternate universe for players to have a fresh start in.
Taking a slight detour from theSpider-Manuniverse, there are some players within Reddit who have been hoping that there could be a whole new hero added to the city of New York within the Insomniac Games universe, and that isDaredevil.
Over the years, fans of Marvel have been developing a new love for Daredevil as he received his own TV show back a few years ago, which unfortunately was cancelled. Now, with his appearance in She-Hulk and his upcoming Disney+ show, players are wondering if we will get a game adaptation ofDaredevil.
This could prove to be a difficult game to develop due toDaredevil’sunique circumstances, but for Insomniac Games, we have no doubt they can work it out, as there is already a Spidey Sense that can be used as an early warning indicator for players that alerts them to danger and a prebuilt parkour system.
Even though these mechanics could prove to be a challenge for Insomniac Games, there are a few features within theSpider-Mangames that could also be used forDaredevil,as there is already a Kingpin asset and voice actor. There is already a Murdock Law Firm within the world of Insomniacs New York, which could lead to a lawyer-based aspect within the game itself.
