The Intel Arc B570/B580 are designed to be great budget GPUs for 1080p gaming. However, are they still worth buying, especially in late 2025?
Intel designed the Arc B570 and B580 as two of the best GPUs aimed at budget gamers. The chip giant also priced both GPUs appropriately, and users certainly applauded that. Both graphics cards are equipped with 10GB and 12GB of VRAM, and they are designed to deliver competitive 1080p gaming.
However, it’s been over 10 months since the Intel Arc B570 and B580 launched, and users want to know if they are still worth buying in late 2025. That’s exactly what we plan to answer in this article with a detailed gaming performance overview of the two GPUs.

Intel Arc B570/B580: How Do They Perform in 1080p?
Both the Arc B570 and B580 GPUs are designed on the Intel Battlemage architecture, which fixed many of the quirks and issues of the old Arc A-series cards. Therefore, they should perform much better in almost every game. However, before we begin this performance overview, let’s take a look at their specs to learn what they are capable of.

Here are the specs of the Intel Arc B570 and B580:
The differences between the Intel Arc B570 and Arc B580 are negligible. Unfortunately, their shader cores, RT cores, TMUs, and ROPs are much lower than those of the older Intel Arc A750 card. However, that is to be expected. The Arc A750 card was a 700-class GPU, while the Intel Arc B570 and Arc B580 are lower 500-class cards.
Nonetheless, the new Intel B-series GPUs still perform better than the Arc A750, despite having lower shader cores and other stuff, thanks to the new Battlemage architecture. Whether that would be enough to deliver a solid 1080p gaming experience remains to be seen.
Performance in Gaming
Here’s how the Intel Arc B570 and B580 perform in some of the popular games:
Note: The two GPUs tested here were evaluated at a 1080p resolution with High/Ultra Settings, unless otherwise specified. All the FPS numbers were sourced from the Intel Arc Testingchannel on YouTube. For the tests, the two graphics cards were paired with a Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU.
As you can see, both Arc B570 and B580 deliver a solid 60+ FPS in almost every game except Stalker 2. However, every GPU suffers in that game, so it is not unique to these Intel cards. Using XeSS at Quality or balanced settings should push the FPS to 60+ FPS for both GPUs.
If we put Stalker 2 aside, the Arc B570 and B580 GPUs comfortably deliver 65 – 90 FPS easily in many of the games tested above. Therefore, you should also be able to play those games at 1440p natively or withIntel XeSS upscaling.
The Intel Arc B570 is currently priced at$239.99 on Amazon US, and the Arc B580 at$299.99 on Amazon US. The two GPUs were originally launched at $219 and $249 in the US, so they are being sold at a premium. However, the prices outside of the US are closer to their launch prices.
Are Intel Arc B570/B580 Worth Buying in Late 2025?
If you are planning to buy a new budget GPU for 1080p gaming, then the Intel Arc B570 and B580 are still worth buying, even in late 2025. Newer GPUs on the market, such as theNvidia RTX 5060andRadeon RX 9060 XT, are definitely more powerful, but they have only 8GB of VRAM, which can be a limiting factor in many games now.
Some games even refuse to launch or crash outright on 8GB GPUs, such as Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. The Intel Arc B570 and B580 don’t have this problem, as they possess 10GB and 12GB of VRAM. Therefore, we still recommend buying the two Intel GPUs here.
