Man of Steelstar Henry Cavill in a 2018 interview with Men’s Journal spoke about an issue concerning two of DC’s finest, the Son of Krypton and the Bat of Gotham. Cavill had an opinion about the two characters that may have been hard for DC fans to swallow, but he went into the details to explain why he thought so.

According to the actor, a Superman film is 10 times tougher to properly execute on the silver screen as compared to a Batman film. Both comic book characters have plenty of stories that can inspire filmmakers to convert them into live-action blockbusters, but Cavill felt that cracking a Superman story takes a lot of effort.

Henry Cavill Said A Batman Story Is Easy To Execute
Cavill put forth an argument that Batman’s stories are easy to crack as the character is majorly known to be brooding and dangerous. While there may not be a counter to this particular opinion of his, Batman’s world is quite complex and filled with characters who are complicated.
Cavill said toMen’s Journal–

“There’s so much that can be done with Superman. The Batman story is easy. He’s dark and brooding and dangerous. Superman, I believe, can be a better story, but it requires 10 times the effort to get it right.”
As for Superman, he felt that the studio execs needed to care for the character as much as he did while he hoped to tell many great stories for years to come.
