Following the surge of Swifties expressing their wish to see the pop icon make a cameo as the popular character, the director has now also enthusiastically hopped on the hype train, especially after Christopher Nolan sang praises of the singer.

The MCU director,Shawn Levy, recently appeared on the podcastThe Happy Sad Confusedand revealed his excitement about the possibility ofTaylor Swiftportraying Dazzler on screen. For the past few months, Swifties have eagerly anticipated seeing their favorite singer in the MCU family.
Levy shining a green light could probably mean something, although nothing is confirmed yet. The director, who is a longtime friend of the singer, shared his personal opinion. He stated,
“It sure escapes the lips of social media every day, and that’s all I’m gonna say,—It sounds like a great idea.”
Deadpool 3has already generated buzz from its star-studded lineup and hints of exciting cameos. The social media clip revealing Deadpool’s grand entrance into the MCU made hearts race by confirming Hugh Jackman’s grand return as Wolverine. Now, fans are eagerly speculating about the possible appearances of Taylor Swift and Channing Tatum in the mix. Christopher Nolan is saying it as it is. The director stated that studios would be missing out significantly on the singer’s concert movie, given her direct collaboration with AMC Theatres. At theCity University of New Yorkevent, he said,
“Taylor Swift is about to show the studios, because her concert film is not being distributed by the studios, it’s being distributed by a theater owner, AMC, and it’s going to make an enormous amount of money,–And this is the thing, this is a format, this is a way of seeing things and sharing stories, or sharing experiences, that’s incredibly valuable. And if they don’t want it, somebody else will. So that’s just the truth of it.”
Taylor Swift’sEras Tourmovie set a new record by grossing a $92.8 million domestic and $123.5 million global opening and thus in turn becoming the highest-grossing concert film in North America and the second-largest October debut.
Deadpool 3is set to release on June 17, 2025.
