When Chuck Lorre, the show’s co-creator, decided to stray from the original plan of an audio-only scene, it gave the actress Mayim Bialik, who played the beloved character Amy Farrah Fowler, a red face. This certainly was a funny turning point for both the actress and the fans.

The CBS show ran for 12 seasons from September 2007 to May 2019. For the unversed, the show was live-filmed in front of an audience. The series, which was initially focused on five characters who lived in Pasadena, California, also starred Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayyar, and Sara Gilbert.
