Charlotte Rileyrevealed that she andTom Hardytook things slow and decided to know each other better before making things official. During their time inWuthering Heights,the two would go on several coffee dates. It was perhaps during one of these dates when Hardy managed to unnerve the actress after he decided to do his Charles Bronson impression.
In an interview with Daily Mail, Riley said that she didn’t fall head over heels with Hardy after just one date, stating,
“It wasn’t love at first cup. In fact, I was a bit unnerved when he switched into Charles Bronson. After a few cups of tea I realized it was something he did mainly to make people laugh.”
That must’ve been a pretty awkward moment for both Riley and Hardy. Luckily, thePeaky Blindersactress was able to move past it and gave Hardy a chance. It all worked out in their favor as the couple will soon be celebrating their ten-year anniversary in 2024!
