Separation can make a person bitter and vengeful. Hollywood starJennifer Anistonproved her class by not falling prey to these emotions during her highly publicized separation fromBrad Pitt. While there were many complicated issues that theMurder Mysterystar dealt with, she chose to take a dignified stance when bombarded with questions about her split.
Her response in particular, to questions about her ex and Angelina Jolie, made her even more loved by fans across the world. When asked to express her emotions after seeing Pitt and Jolie together immediately after her divorce, Aniston gave the perfect reply in her appearance onGood Morning America(viaIMDb) and said,

“I will not let myself down like that. I also know what feels good and it doesn’t feel good to harbor anger and resentment. We do have tools to work through stuff. Everybody does.”
Aniston’s response showed that the star not only embodied dignity, but also did not tolerate any kind of unwarranted gossip that served as bait for her to react in a hostile manner.

In 2006, Jennifer Aniston starred with Vince Vaughn inThe Break-Up, a film that hit close to home for the star personally, after her split with Brad Pitt a year before. Interestingly, the Golden Globe winner went on to date Vaughn for a year and a half after working together in the film. But this relationship did not last the test of time as well.
Vaughn though, played an important part in Aniston’s life not just as her co-star, but as a friend who got her through a dark period in her life. TheWe’re the Millersactor confessed that Vaughn proved to be a life saver just after her separation from Brad Pitt. Aniston had only positive things to say about working with him, and eventually getting together albeit for a short period. In an interview withVogue, she said,

“I call Vince my defibrillator. He literally brought me back to life. My first gasp of air was a big laugh! It was great. I love him. He’s a bull in a china shop. He was lovely and fun and perfect for the time we had together. And I needed that. And it sort of ran its course.”
Despite the relationship not lasting, Aniston and Vaughn have continued to remain friends over the years.
