Even thoughKeanu Reevesreportedly didn’t even speak nearly 400 words, it didn’t hinder his paycheck. Unlike his previous salary, where the actor made around $1-2 million dollar forJohn Wickand around $2-3 million for the sequel. Reeves reportedly took home a mammoth total of $15 million for his role in the fourth movie.
And considering that the actor reportedly spoke only 380 words in the movie, it means that he almost made $39,473 for each of his words in the fourth entry. But despite not having a hefty amount of dialogue in the movie, it didn’t take away the emotions from the movie and fans were able to resonate with the character, thanks to Reeves’ exceptional performance.

Despite the movie’s immense success at the box office, it seems that it might be a while before we see Keanu Reeves back in action as Baba Yaga again. As Chad Stahelski is ready to move past the action franchise and focus on other projects, including a live-action adaptation of theGhost of Tsushimagame. Both Stahelski and Keanu Reeves are ready to give the franchise some rest.
Even though the fourth movie was able to wrap the entire story ofJohn Wick, it doesn’t mean that they don’t have further plans for the characters. Following the success of the fourth movie, it’s most likely that the fifth part will get greenlit soon but it might be a long wait for fans.
