Unfortunately, the outfit betrayed her at the main event as the pearls fell off her dress. But she was backed by her daughter North West, who helped her mother to collect all the precious pearls detached from the dress. Kardashian being a slayer, pulled off her attire like a pro, despite having a fashion emergency.

The 2023 Met Gala event was graced byKim Kardashian,who made a show-stopping appearance by wearing a custom Schiaparelli gown embellished with 50,000 freshwater pearls that draped over her décolletage and from the hips downward.
The dress looked stunning, but after a while, it created trouble for the SKIMS founder as the pearls from the outfit began to scatter, and Kardashian had to clutch her pearls.

Fortunately, her 10-year-old daughter, North West, was present at the event to help her mother collect the precious pearls. While speaking toVogueon the red carpet, Kim K recalled the fashion mishap and said,
“Some popped on the way, and I told my daughter to grab them all. They’re real pearls, and she was putting them in her purse.”
Despite the wardrobe malfunction that created a mess for Kardashian, she still managed to slay with the outfit and confidently posed for the paparazzi.

Kim Kardashian is not new to such mishaps, as the diva has often encountered such fashion emergencies, yet she has pulled off every outfit with grace and confidence.
During an episode ofThe Kardashians Season 4(viabustle), the eldest Kardashian daughter revealed that previously before a business event, she had to face an embarrassing moment due to her wardrobe malfunction. Kardashian recalled,
“My hand goes through the latex pants and completely rips the pants.I m freaking the fck out. This is a serious, serious, serious business thing and already, I’m like, ‘Ooh, I’m pushing it with the latex leggings.’ But my thing is, I want to be me. Please God, do not rip anymore, or I’m like fcked.”
However, her team managed to get her a long blazer saving her from further embarrassment.
