Kristen Stewart Crashed Robert Pattinson’s Birthday Years After Split
During a recent appearance at theHappy Sad Confused podcast, the director of the 2008 filmTwilight,Catherine Hardwicke, revealed an impromptu reunion ofKristen StewartandRobert Pattinson. It happened after the 33-year-old actress crashedThe Batmanstar’s 37th birthday party earlier this year. Hardwicke shared,
“Strangely enough, I ended up, I went to Rob’s birthday party recently. I kinda crashed with my friend Toni Collette, who had just done a movie with him… We had a fun thing, and then Kristen crashed it too.”
The filmmaker shared that Stewart was shocked to see her at the party. Hardwicke shared that thePanic Roomactress first checked if it was “cool” for her to join the party, and Pattinson welcomed her, saying,“Of course.”She said that it felt like a reunion as they all“hugged each other.”
The former couple has been quite open about their split, and Stewart even publicly apologized after her images with Rupert Sanders surfaced. TheTenetactor, however, has shared that it was not the hardest part of their breakup.

In a 2014 interview with Esquire, Robert Pattinson opened up about his separation from hisTwilightco-star Kristen Stewart. And he shared that the constant gossip surrounding Stewart and Rupert Sanders was not the hardest part of the split for him.
“Sht happens, you know? It’s just young people … it’s normal! And honestly, who gives a sht?”he told the magazine, as perPeople. However, the one thing he found the hardest was to talk about, as he was concerned about the impact it has on others.“Because when you talk about other people, it affects them in ways you can’t predict,”he said.
The two have since moved on. Pattinson is expecting his first child with girlfriend Suki Waterhouse, who recently broke the news at the Coronoa Capital Festival. Stewart is engaged to actress Dylan Meyer and has said that they are planning to get married soon.
