Artificial Intelligence has been a topic that has taken over the world and by the looks of it, Marvel’sSecret Invasioncannot escape it either. The series has so far got a lot of good reviews all perhaps leading towards how the Marvel Cinematic Universe is finally finding its old glory. There has been a lot of back and forth between content creators and AI who find the use of it to be unconventional.

What was even more shocking was to see that not only had Marvel meddled with artificial intelligence but it just so happened to have created the opening ofSecret Invasionusing it. While it would not be a shock to see fans utterly disappointed by it, Ali Selim, the director of the series has a reason for it.

Secret InvasionCredits Being Made By AI Were On Theme
The opening credits forSecret Invasionwere made by Artificial Intelligence and that is not a fact kept hidden by theMarvelCinematic Universe. The director ofSamuel L. Jackson’sseries, Ali Selim, stated that there was a reason the credits were made by AI and the decision was made on purpose.
“We would talk to them about ideas and themes and words, and then the computer would go off and do something. And then we could change it a little bit by using words, and it would change.”

Selim talked about how it was essential it was to capture the themes and essence of how there were Skrulls in the series. The way artificial intelligence managed to get exactly what they were looking for what could be captured by the mods in terms of the shapeshifting was one of the biggest thematic concerns of the series. Without AI they would not have been able to bring to life the vision they had been going for.

Fans Were Not Big Fans Of Knowing That Secret Invasion’s Opening Was The Work Of AI
Fans were deeply upset upon learning that despite the series getting a lot of praise. They were not okay with how even after making so many mistakes in the past phases, they chose to make another one that could possibly anger them even more.
Really sucks because the rest of the show is really well made by REAL HUMANS and this AI shit is overshadowing all that.

I like the intro. It fits very well with the themes of the show. I’m just not sure how I feel about the fact that it wasn’t made by human artists.Otherwise I absolutely loved the first episode.

Audiences were not happy after learning that the MCU had leaned towards AI even though there are some of the most creative minds available to them. It was rather disappointing for them and it brought about a factor of whether or not the scripts were also written by AI or not.
Secret Invasionis now streaming on Disney+.
