The Separation, the second phase inBleach’s Thousand-Year Blood War, has taken things to the next level. The first course provided an amazing demonstration of what this series is capable of without the use of stretched-out sequences or filler, laying the groundwork for major events in the arc.Bleachreturned in October with 13 episodes that ended with some emotional moments, leaving fans to wait until the summer for the next installment. And now the second course has exceeded expectations with some of the epic fight scenes and battles that have got fans excited for the further development of the story and providing them with more epic scenes in the anime series.

These epic battles and fight scenes have been possible only because of the involvement of one man, the creator Tite Kubo. The director of the series Tomohisa Taguchi explained how Kubo san’s involvement has made theBleach: Thousand-Year Blood Warfight scenes possible.

Tomohisa Taguchi Explains Tite Kubo’s Involvement
While talking tothe Febri, director Taguchi explained the aspect of 3D animation for the series and how despite being hated by most anime fans, the series was able to adopt 3D animation, and fans not only accepted it but loved the series. Talking about Kubo’s involvement in the series, Taguchi said:
“It’s almost decided. As you said, we’ve been progressing at a fairly fast pace so far, and we’re working on finalizing things going forward, including how we’re going to structure them, with the help of Professor Kubo. There may be many scenes that were not depicted in the original work…so I hope you look forward to it. –I’m really curious!”

Taguchi explained how Kubo has helped them structure some of the final sequences and helped them progress at a fast pace. He also explained how the epic battle scenes would not have been possible without creator Kubo.

Tite Kubo Helped Tomohisa Taguchi with Battle Scenes
Taguchi while talking about battle scenes stated how the tempo of the battle was fast in the current series compared to others, and with the suggestions of Kubo, he was able to make it possible. He said:
“When you were reading the original work in real-time, there were times when you thought, “I wish I had seen more of this battle,” right? –there was. Especially from this point on, the tempo of the battle was fast, so I felt like I wanted to watch it more closely if possible. I felt the same way, so I thought I’d be able to describe it carefully. Thankfully, I also received a lot of cooperation from Mr. Kubo. When I received checkbacks and suggestions from Mr. Kubo, I felt like I was a regular reader again and was just excited, thinking, “Wow!”

Taguchi noted that while reading the Thousand-Year Blood War storyline, he wished some of the action sequences were longer. As a result, he and the team decided to elaborate on the impending fight scenes. Thankfully, Taguchi stated that series creator Kubo collaborated on these anime-only scenes.
