Many would have thought thatOne Piecelive action would be just like other live actions, which would perform terribly and get negative reviews from the fans; however, due to the involvement of Oda sensei and excellent casting choices, the series was able to overcome the odds and become the most successful live-action ever.
Several changes were made to the story, but they all proved to be calculated decisions, which the fans liked. However, a significant scene from Luffy’s backstory was omitted, which included the fight with a sea monster, and fans are disappointed by Netflix’s decision.

Netflix did not include one major scene from Luffy’s backstory inOne Piecelive-action season 1
One Piecelive-action was a blockbuster and had unparalleled success in terms of watch time and audience gain. It also received mostly positive reviews from the fans.
The live-action changed some things in the story to increase curiosity and make the viewers aware of what was coming.
They even introduced several characters not present in the story until a little later; however, they excluded one particular scene, which fans are pretty disappointed with.
The scene that we are talking about is none other than Luffy’s backstory when he turns 17 and sails out to begin his adventure and encounters a sea monster.
However, without breaking a sweat, he defeats the monster with a single punch and knocks them out cold; this moment is not included in the live-action.
Many fans wonder why they skipped such a fantastic scene, while others believe the live-action characters are weaker than in their anime version.
This scene had importance in the story as it showed the strength of Luffy, how confident he was about his dreams, and that he would not stop for any opponent who wished to defy his freedom.

When can we expect to seeOne Piecelive-action season 2?
Following the astronomical success ofOne Piecelive-action season 1, it is no surprise fans are already itching for any news regarding season 2.
The author or the Netflix team has issued no information about season 2 besides confirming that it is in production.
Fans might need to hold out for some years before Luffy begins his journey again and encounters more impressive and robust characters.
Fans have huge expectations for season 2 of the series, following the top-quality content they got from season 1.
The upcoming season will include the introduction of several fan-favorite characters, major character revelations, and a surreal plot twist so fans can expect a better product than the previous season.
