Cruz showered her admiration for the iconic star and revealed how she got a chance to be intimate as the two appeared topless for an AIDS charity campaign years ago. Not only this, but it was Streep who inspired her to be an actress.

Meryl Streepfamously stated that she doesn’t mind doing sex scenes in her 70s, even though it bothers some of the young stars. Well, there’s one person who wouldn’t mind sharing this on-screen intimacy with the legendary actress, and it’s none other than her longtime admirer, Spanish beauty, Penelope Cruz.
TheVolverstar, who appeared topless with theLittle Womenactress in an AIDS charity photoshoot, revealed her admiration for the superstar, who inspired her to become an actor. She loves her so much that she wouldn’t mind kissing TheDevil Wears Pradastar whenever she sees her. Cruz said:
“When I first started watching movies and I saw Meryl’s work, I became obsessed with acting. Now I kiss her whenever I see her! She must think I’m crazy.”

While Penelope Cruz shared some of the most colorful s-ex scenes with A-listers like her ex-Tom Cruise, she still cannot forget the topless photoshoot with Meryl Streep where she sat on top of her idol. She referred to it as “the most interesting love scene I ever did.” Cruz was referring to her semi-nude appearance with Streep for an AIDS charity campaign, RED.

Penelope Cruz’s First Nude Scene
During a previous interview, the sultry Spanish actress talked about her first-ever nude scene that could have ended her career. She was referring to Pedro Almodóvar’s 1992 classicJamón Jamón,and interestingly, she shared this intimate scene with her present-day husband,Javier Bardem, with whom she has two children.
The Oscar-winning actress shared that this particular scene, where then-23-year-old Bardem sat naked under a full moon before getting intimate with the then-18-year-old Cruz, could have torpedoed her career. She said:
“Of course, I was not looking forward to those scenes but I did it. Everyone was really respectful, aware of the fact that I was 18. I remember the last day of filming, I was crying, saying: ‘What if I never shoot a movie again? The feeling was devastating.’”
Of course, none of that became a reality as Cruz went on produce one hit after the other. The Spanish beauty, who started her career at the age of 16, earned numerous awards during her sparkling career. She is the only Spanish actress to have won an Oscar, as well as a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. It’s only fair to say that some courtesy goes to her idol, Meryl Streep.
