The base game was originally released three years ago in 2020, and to call the launch an absolute disaster would be an understatement due to the countless game-breaking bugs that accompanied it.

But it seems like the developer has drastically learned from its past mistakes, as its title’s latest update 2.0 and the expansion are both receiving critical and commercial acclaim from all across the industry.

CD Projekt Red’s ambitious title is finally getting the positive attention it had been hoping for, as bothCyberpunk 2077and its anticipated expansion,Phantom Liberty, have made their way to the top of the best-seller list on Steam. In fact, at the time of writing this, the game and its DLC have secured their spots in the Top 2 of the list, with the base game being at number 1, followed immediately by the expansion.
