She-HulkDirector Expressed Her Desire to Bring Jennifer Lopez to MCU
Jennifer Lopez could star in a new MCU series one day, asKat Coirorevealed it. Yes, you heard it right. Speaking to Tara Hitchcock,She-Hulk: Attorney at Lawdirector Kat Coiro revealed her wish to cast Jennifer Lopez in a role in the MCU, saying:
“Oh, well, my dream is to bring J-Lo into the MCU, so… Put that out there.”
Coiro directed Lopez in her 2022 filmMarry Me(which follows the story of popular singer Kat Valdez),and in the run-up to that movie, Coiro took to Instagram and posted a lengthy message praising Lopez:
“So many people came together to make this movie but I must start with the queen, la reina herself, Jennifer Lopez. Yes, she is just as beautiful in real life. Yes, she has the energy and stamina of one hundred mere mortals. Yes, she is talented, driven, family-oriented, hard-working, thoughtful, prepared, intelligent, transcendent, sensational, just as awesome behind the scenes as she is on camera […]
She continued:
@Jlo brings out the best in everyone around her. In me, executives, other actors, dancers, the crew- everyone wants to give 1000% when they’re in her presence because she always gives that much, if not more… Despite all this she is humble and deferential and collaborative. She is inspiring and awesome and I feel grateful to know her. Also, look at her championing female directors.”
According to Heavy, an Instagram fan page called @jloversjlo shared a tweet where Kat Coiro expressed this wish.Jennifer Lopezthen shared the screenshot on her Instagram story, writing,“haha… love u too @katcoiro.”
Although J.Lo doesn’t seem to be taking the suggestion too seriously but you never know what might happen in the future.

Could J.Lo Make Her Marvel Debut?
Coiro mentioned in an interview with global media that she didn’t face any challenges in getting the actors she wanted forShe-Hulk.The director also emphasized that working with Marvel allowed filmmakers to get any desired actor.
When the interviewer compared working at Marvel Studios to a child creating a story with their favorite heroes, the director responded by saying it was a “true dream”:
“Absolutely! I think so many people have a nostalgic connection to the comic books or with the younger people even the movies as something they experienced in their formative years. Because Marvel keeps making high-quality content, you have people keep wanting to be engaged. It was, as a director, a true dream.”
A lot of A-list stars have appeared in Marvel movies over the years, so it’s not out of the question for someone like the pop star to get featured soon.
The fact is that her husband, Ben Affleck, has portrayed the DC Comics character Batman in multiple films, and now it would also be great to see Lopez as a Marvel character.
