After the 20-year-old actress was spotted smoking cigarettes with a friend in public, a Twitter user called her a“20-year-old teenager”and condemned her for breaking the law.

The Twitter user wrote,“She’s literally a 20-year-old teenager .. isn’t it illegal for teens to smoke?”Another critic tweeted, “The way she is inhaling, anyone can tell that she did not start smoking yesterday.”One, however, mocked the hater,“Man said “20-year-old teenager.”

Legally speaking, since 2019, the smoking age in all states and territories is 21 after federal law was passed by Congress and signed by former President Donald Trump. However, the minimum age to purchase and consume tobacco varies from state to state.
