After the 20-year-old actress was spotted smoking cigarettes with a friend in public, a Twitter user called her a“20-year-old teenager”and condemned her for breaking the law.
The Twitter user wrote,“She’s literally a 20-year-old teenager .. isn’t it illegal for teens to smoke?”Another critic tweeted, “The way she is inhaling, anyone can tell that she did not start smoking yesterday.”One, however, mocked the hater,“Man said “20-year-old teenager.”

Even though cigarette consumption is injurious to health, the unversed need to know that Ortega isn’t a teenager. Legally speaking, since 2019, the smoking age in all states and territories is 21 after federal law was passed by Congress and signed by former President Donald Trump. However, the minimum age to purchase and consume tobacco varies from state to state.

While the Twitter user may have failed to frame his sentence perfectly, one thing remains sure. Jenna Ortega feels like a national treasure in her own mind. During her appearance on Dax Shepard’sArmchair Expertpodcast, she boldly admitted to being unprofessional at work.
Without a teary-eyed apology, theScream IVstar spoke like an“authoritarian dictator”, revealing that she deserves the“utmost thanks from the actual paid, unionized writers for bettering their thoughtless schlock,”referring to Tim Burton’s (directed four out of eight episodes) show.
