However, the game does feature some differences compared to its predecessor when it comes to PC specifications. Here’s everything you need to know about Silent Hill F’s PC system requirements.

Silent Hill F PC System Requirements

Compared to Silent Hill 2 Remake, Silent Hill F seems to be a bit more CPU-intensive. In terms of GPU and VRAM requirements, both the Silent Hill titles are identical, which isn’t surprising considering the use of Unreal Engine 5. Furthermore, it seems Silent Hill F also comes with support for both, software and hardware ray-tracing, based on its minimum requirements. Having support for software ray-tracing means the game will be playable on older GPUs, without much hassle. In terms of CPU, the minimum requirement for Silent Hill F is aRyzen 5 2600orCore i5-8400equivalent, which falls roughly in line with the consoles.

However, the recommended specification for the CPU is aRyzen 5 5500, which is a noticeable step up from the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S’ CPU. That said, here’s a look at the minimum and recommended requirements for Silent Hill F:

With the minimum specifications, the developers are targeting a 720p-30fps experience, at theLowestgraphics preset. Whereas, the recommended specifications target 1080p-60fps atHighpreset. The recommended specifications can also run at the game at 1440p or 4K, albeit with the help ofupscaling.

Silent Hill F File Size

Based on the game’s system specifications, Silent Hill F will require roughly50 GBof storage on PC and consoles. The storage requirement falls completely in line with Silent Hill 2 Remake, which also came with a 50 GB file size on PC. Unreal Engine 5 games are usually known for their bloated file size. For instance, Black Myth Wukong, another UE5 title, comes with a file size of130 GB. However, it seems Konami andNeoBards Entertainmenthave spent a considerable amount of time optimizing the game’s file size to bring it down to the 50 GB mark.
