Hyperstrange, the Warsaw-based developer and publisher behind the FPS stealth horror title Blood West has announced that the legendary voice actor Stephen L. Russell will portray the main character inBlood West.

The game is set in a Wild West kind of world filled with demons and monsters, featuring sandbox gameplay with players having different ways to deal with a situation. Players will have to build an arsenal to have weapons at their disposal and go head-to-head with these dangerous entities.
Legendary Voice Actor Stephen L. Russell Joins Blood West
Stephen L. Russell is popularly known for his roles in theThiefgames, Corvo inDishonored 2, and Nick Valentine inFallout 4. The actor will now lend his voice to the main character in Blood West and bring the wicked scenarios ofBlood Westto life. The voice actor will be seen as the gunslinger and will be heard commenting on trinkets, contraptions, and messed-up-looking entities he encounters in the game.
Hyperstrange also released the third chapter of the game revealing Stephen L. Russell as the voice actor for revenant gunslinger. The voice actor expressed his excitement about joiningBlood West. Russell stated,

“I’m starting a fantastic fresh adventure as the revenant gunslinger in Blood West. With elements of challenging gameplay and stealth mechanics, I am thrilled to be part of it. And I hope you will be too! See you there.”
Blood Westwas initially released on Steam as part of early access in February last year and has been a success so far with a very positive overall rating on Steam with over 1600 reviews. The game has been praised for its immersive atmosphere and challenging stealth mechanics with elements of horror.

Players have loved taking on the wicked demons and eldritch horrors, while they look to end the curse that’s bringing the demons to the frontier. The game has several missions and quests for players and the challenges only get tough going forward, with the presence of powerful demons and spirits.

Blood Westis slated for a full launch on June 19, 2025, and is currently available in early access for $14.99. The game will bring chapter 3 and add a new mountain area to the already chilling Wild West world. Stephen L. Russell will give his voice to the nameless main character with the full release of the game.
