Keery fits most of the criteria for the role and then some. Keery can easily match the necessary acting range, physique, and comic timing required to play the character. While he might need to work on his stunts to match that of Tom Holland, he adds flair with his smooth long hair. Additionally, he also has a striking facial resemblance to one of the previous Spider-Man actors, Andrew Garfield.

Is Joe Keery As Spider-Man A Realistic Possibility?
However, fans needn’t entirely give up their hope, as anything can happen in the multiverse. Keery could still make a cameo appearance as a Spider-Man from another universe, something reminiscent of Sony’sSpider-Verse. It would be a nice touch from the studio to acknowledge the fan desires and bring Keery into one of their projects.
The excitement for Joe Keery’s ‘imaginary’ portrayal as the superhero was through the roof for fans in response to @clements.ink’s art. However, one fan went one step ahead and gave a suggestion to Keery not to bring Steve Harrington into Peter Parker. A valid suggestion, but it comes at the wrong time.
