The renowned actor Robert Downey Jr. gained immense popularity for playing Tony Stark/Iron Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. His role as the Marvel superhero impressed both critics and regular viewers. With his portrayal of a wealthy playboy inventor, he turned Marvel Studios into a cinematic powerhouse.

No doubt he’s been the best in these years, which can be estimated by seeing the amount he charges for doing each movie. Even though the actor became the world’s highest-paid actor for his Iron Man role, he responded unusually by calling his (most liked) character a “second-tier superhero.”

“Well, first of all, back then, the reference would have been Christopher Reeve. And Michael Keaton. Right? But I know that I must have read those comics before, or they were in the atmosphere. So what I would have said was, “Ugh, really? That’s a second-tier superhero!”

He also noted that his younger self might have found himself somewhere in the middle — either making a judgment about playing a superhero or accepting it as something cool. The character of Iron Man brought theDue Datestar both wealth and fame, but his response looks a little inappropriate.
