By the time he realized this, he was further into the web of unfortunate events. Of course, the actor is trying to bounce back and try to be clean but he can never forget the terrible past he lived and the consequences that almost buried his career.
When a Variety photographer asked the actor to pose alongside a vintage wine cellar, the actor refused with an astounding“No.”With a firm gaze at the alcohol bottles, the actor said,“That sh-t almost f–ked up my life,”LaBeouf toldVariety.
Amid several off-screen scandals, his 2014 scandal has wounded the actor gravely. It was hard to recover. Drowning in whiskey, LaBeouf created the biggest blunder in his life creating a scene while watching the Broadway performance ofCabaret. He was arrested right after and had to serve jail time. LaBeouf was full of regret, and people he respected were certainly worried about him.
“I had people tell me it was going to,”he said how the incident would hurt him.
“People I respected — dudes I wanted to work with — just looked me in the eyes and said, ‘Life’s too short for this sh-t.’ I’m still earning my way back. I’m happy working.”
LaBeouf has endured a series of ups and downs. He has been sober after that while trying to get back to his feet.

LaBeouf left his days of haunting tale of his life. At the time of his solid performance inAmerican Honey, the actor was sober for a year. “You don’t touch it,” the 37-year-old toldVariety.
“Alcohol or any of that sh-t will send you haywire. I can’t f–k with none of it. I’ve got to keep my head low,”he added.
American Honeyhas been a savior for the actor, he has found his creative spark, he has found his rhythm and the movie has helped the actor to bounce back to the world of cinema.
The movie was received well by critics at the Toronto Film Festival, and Cannes and LaBeouf gained worthy praise he deserved. Surely, he was in the Oscar buzz but the actor was quite aware that it was not for him.“Nah, dude, not me,”LaBeouf told the outlet, he was never invited to the Academy.
“The Oscars are about politics. I gotta earn my way back. It’s not about who is the best. I’m not that guy for a long time — for a long, long time. I’m good with that, though. Sometimes that sh-t is a curse.”
LaBeouf had his glorious days appearing in big studio movies likeIndiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull,and theTransformersfranchise. But he seems happy with being an indie movie actor and he has created a significant mark there.
