Though the two stars were deeply in love, the engagement never happened. It seemed like Kidman was not ready to get married again so soon.

Nicole Kidman almost got engaged to Lenny Kravitz

In an interview withVanity Fair,Nicole Kidman didn’t take names, but she revealed that an engagement didn’t work out because both of them were not ready for that kind of commitment.

“It just wasn’t right. I wasn’t ready. We weren’t ready,”
Kidman also shared that she does not do flings, as she wants a deep connection. She added,
“I get engaged and I get married — that’s my thing. I don’t want to date. I’m interested in a very, very deep connection.”
The relationship didn’t work, but they maintained good terms with each other. She worked with his daughter, Zoë Kravitz, years later inThe Big Little Lies. Zoë Kravitz was also part of Robert Pattinson’s 2022 film,The Batman, where she played Catwoman.
Nicole Kidman is presently married to New Zealand-Australian country singer Keith Urban.
