When is Modern Warfare 2 & Warzone 2 Season 1?
With Warzone 2.0 rolling into focus and Modern Warfare 2 now released globally, there’s plenty for CoD fans to keep tabs on. Here, we’re running through when players can expect Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare 2’s Season One to kick off, and what it will bring when it does.
Seasonal content has become the normfor Call of Duty across the last few years. Each title typically has 5 or 6 content seasons before the subsequent title is released.
However, this year will be slightly different because Activision arereleasing Modern Warfare 2andWarzone 2.0within a few weeks of each other.
The exact level of synchronization between the two titles has not yet been made clear but, with both games approaching rapidly, here’s what you need to know about Season 1.
When is Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0 Season 1?
Activisionhas confirmed that Modern Warfare 2 & Warzone 2 Season 1 will be released on Wednesday, November 16. Season 1 content will first be available in Modern Warfare 2 at 6AM PT whileWarzone 2 servers will go live at 10AM PT.

Thetwo “fan-favorite multiplayer maps”chalked to return have now been confirmed asShoot HouseandShipment.
It will alsosee the Tier 1 mode drop in MW2 – the new name for the classic Hardcore playlists.
We’ll also be getting the M13B and Chimera ARs, with the latter beinga reincarnation of CoD: Ghosts’ Honey Badger AR. All that will drop alongside the typical battle pass, skins and more.
