Despite being an accomplished Hollywood star, who has been attached to several big-budget blockbusters, Chris Pratt has repeatedly found himself on the receiving end of negativity for a long while. Ever since the drama surrounding his religious beliefs, which garnered a lot of controversy for the actor, a substantial portion of the internet hasn’t backed away from criticizing the actor on various occasions.

However, the unwanted hate against theGuardians of the Galaxystar hasn’t sat well with Joe Rogan, as he once went on to speak out against the extreme hate that Pratt has been dealing with.

Joe Rogan once spoke out against the hate surrounding Chris Pratt
Following the colossal hate thatChris Pratthas been receiving from fans for a while, during one of Joe Rogan’s podcasts, the former UFC commentator went on to address this issue. While sharing his viewpoint regarding theJurassic Worldactor,Joe Roganexpressed that the hate against the Marvel star is pointless, as he went on to bash the actor’s haters.
He further went on to claim that Pratt is one of the nicest people he has encountered and speculated that the reason behind the backlash might have to deal with his religious beliefs. Rogan said,

“Even Chris Pratt gets in trouble because he’s Christian. Bro, he is the nicest f***ing guy I’ve ever met in my life. … They’re all insane people that hate their jobs or sitting in front of the cubicle. When their boss isn’t looking, they’re tweeting bad things about Chris Pratt.”
Despite Rogan addressing the issue, the situation hasn’t quite changed and the actor was once again bullied by the internet for his inclusion in Illumination’sThe Super Mario Bros. Movie.

AlthoughThe Super Mario Bros. Moviehas been a huge success for Illumination and has become a dominant force at the box office, the initial reception to Pratt’s casting for Mario wasn’t well received. And following the immense backlash that the actor received for voicing Mario in the animated movie, Pratt eventually came forward to address the issue before the release of the movie. The actor expressed that he did understand the hate, as he went on to state,
“Oh, I totally get [the criticisms and confusion], man. There’s a passionate fanbase and I’m one of the fans. I get it. Mostly, people don’t want something like this to get screwed up.”

But despite the immense Backlash that the actor has been receiving over the years, it hasn’t stopped him from climbing the ladder of success. The actor is also set to reprise the role of Star-Lord in James Gunn’s upcoming,Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which is one of the most anticipated MCU movies of 2023.
