Jujutsu KaisenSeason 2 Episode 16 was an exciting experience from start to finish. The first part is dedicated to Toji vs. Megumi, as the father and son engage in a deadly struggle unaware of their connection. Another amazing aspect of the program was undoubtedly Jogo vs. Sukuna and the extremely stunning animation. The most intriguing aspect of the show was Megumi eventually summoning Mahoraga, his strongest Shikigami in the Shibuya arc.
Mahoraga is the most powerful and dangerous shikigami that can be summoned with the Ten Shadows Technique. Mahoraga is an intriguing character with strange and supernatural-like skills that can defeat anyone in battle. So yet, no user of the Ten Shadow Technique has been able to exorcise and control Makora, and Megumi is no exception. Mahoraga is a two-edged sword, therefore summoning him would kill Megumi as well as his opponent.

Who is Mahoraga?
Eight-Handled Sword Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga is the Ten Shadows Technique’s most potent shikigami. No user of the Ten Shadows Technique has ever been able to tame it throughout its entire history. The shikigami is a tall, muscular humanoid with four wings emerging from its eye sockets and a tail-like appendage coming from the back of its head. A giant eight-handled wheel hovers just above this, rotating as Mahoraga reacts to fresh stimuli. Mahoraga, in addition to its remarkable body, carries a sword in its right hand. It’s known as the Sword of Extermination, and it’s surrounded by positive energy. This sword wielded by Mahoraga can be quite useful in battle.
The most significant ability in Mahoraga’s arsenal is the Adaptation technique. This allows the Shikigami to adapt to any situation it is facing. In offense, if it fails to break any defense at first, it can adapt to it later. In defense, if it’s hurt by a specific attack, the wheel on its top will rotate, enabling it to adapt to it.

Mahoraga EntersJujutsu KaisenAnime
Megumi has tried to summon Mahoraga countless times previously, but he always fails at the last second. However, after being attacked by Haruta, he ultimately summons his greatest Shikigami in the Shibuya arc. Megumi collapses with severe injuries after summoning Mahoraga. The summoning of Mahoraga nearly kills Megumi, but for better or worse, Sukuna saves him by destroying Mahoraga. Unfortunately, he also destroys the entire Shibuya ward. He also implies that he has big plans for Megumi. The King of Curses acknowledged Mahoraga’s strength, saying he was capable of responding to his actions and counterattacking.
Mahoraga is essentially a gigantic creature with a monster appearance, and simply glancing at it gives the impression that it is extremely powerful. The creature is even capable of killing Gojo Satoru and would become a threat in the future.
