Henry Cavill was pissed at Zack Snyder for bothering him while playing video games
He talked about how his favorite hobby with his brothers was playing an online death match of a first-person shooter game. He spoke poetically aboutSkyrim, a fantasy role-playing game he’d been playing in single-player mode for a long time.
Henry Cavillclaims he was in the middle of a dungeon when his phone rang. Instead of answering the phone right away, as someone waiting for a callback to play Superman might, theMan of Steelactor simply let it ring. He was like,‘’Who the fuck is this bothering me? I’m playing World of Warcraft!’’He then looked up to see who was calling and realized it was director Zack Snyder. Snyder had already hung up before Cavill could answer the phone.

Of course, we know that everything worked out for Cavill because he is now the star of DCU and is reprising his role as Superman once again. However, it’s weird to imagine thatWorld of Warcraft,of all things, nearly cost him the part of one of history’s most iconic superhero characters.
