Ever since Saitama, or the One Punch Man made his debut back in 2009, there has been a never-ending debate about whether he can defeat Son Goku from theDragon BallFranchise, someone who has been considered the strongest anime character since the last few decades.
The above-mentioned debate has even caused sparks between communities on social media platforms on multiple occasions, and it looks like the same is not coming to a stop soon.
However, what many have failed to account for in this debate is the sole fact that there are many more characters that exist other than Goku and can take on Saitama, even becoming a nightmare for him to defeat, we are going to talk about one such character here.

What Character Other Than Goku Can Prove To Be A Difficult Opponent For Saitama
When we talk in a literal sense, the vastness of the anime industry proves to be brutal when it comes to figuring out powerful characters, however, an easy way to streamline popular characters is to account for widely recognized anime only instead.
A character who could be a difficult opponent for Saitama, almost a nightmare, is none other than Katara, fromAvatar:The Last Airbender, as she is someone who is probably going to defeat Saitama without breaking a sweat.
And that can be all credited to her unique water bending skills, which allow her to use the blood bending technique too. While blood bending is something that is considered to be a sin, Katara is left with no choice when it is a question of life or death, allowing her to finish off Saitama as soon as he even dares to come close to her.

Why Katara’s Plan To Defeat Saitama Is Almost Perfect
While it is a given that Saitama is destined to lose as soon as he comes within the proximity of Katara, someone who just might save him is Genos. Genos is an apprentice of Saitama, and always sticks with his master, allowing him to be there in the event the One Punch Man gets into a fight.
This will prove to be a major disadvantage for Katara as Genos is a robot rather than a human being with blood, and while Katara might be able to stand her own ground for a bit with her water-bending techniques, it won’t be long before Genos overpower her easily with his large arsenal of attacks ranging up to missiles even.
