DCU has some unique ways of promoting and marketing its projects. With the upcoming release of Ezra Miller’sThe Flash,DCUs’ plan backfired when they tried to use Henry Cavill’s Superman to promote their upcoming movie,The Flash.

Taking to their social media handles, the official Twitter account of, um…Superman promoted the 2017 Joss Whedon-directed movieJustice League.Also taking a dig at Ezra Miller’s Flash, the tweet stated,“The Flash may be the fastest man alive, but he is not Superman”.

Ezra Miller had already involved themselves in loads of controversies in these past few years with borderline criminal activities. With such a negative reception, fans had already revolted againstThe Flashas a way to show the DCU that they cannot keepEzra Millerin the film without them facing any consequences.

Although the matter subsided, it seems that the DCU has found itself in a new pickle. After their earlier statements that stated that they were suffering from complex mental health issues, Ezra Miller did not make any more public appearances. They were seen at the premiere ofThe Flashas they came on the red carpet and thanked several people for believing in them and giving them a second chance.
As per reports, Miller thanked the director Andy Muschietti, Zack Snyder, David Zaslav, Peter Safran, and James Gunn by stating that he was grateful“for your grace and discernment and care in the context of my life and in bringing this moment to fruition”.
The Flashis slated for a release date of 16th June 2023 in theaters across the U.S.
