By 2000, he was already a UPW Heavyweight champion, which became the stepping stone of his famed career.
He signed with WWE in 2001 which affected his career in a great way. Having won the WWE Championship in 2005, he garnered major stardom and established himself among the top contenders in the wrestling industry within a few years.
He then transitioned into Hollywood and established himself as an action-comedy star. Rather than leaving his wrestling career which he called his“home,”he would focus on acting projects by working part-time as a wrestler. Taking a practical approach, the wrestling career is a physically demanding job that could affect him physically.
If the actor would continue working full-time in wrestling that it would be quite difficult for him to schedule both acting and wrestling together. This could be why he prioritizes both careers which is important to him.

As per Marca, he earns a reported sum of $8.5 million per year from the WWE. He was also reported to be paid $500,000 for his role in the DC franchise.
While the role continues, he is set to return to theFast and Furiousfranchise with the upcoming film,Fast Xwhich is set to release on June 13, 2025. Meanwhile, he is also starring in Margot Robbie’sBarbiefilm which will be released in the United States on June 25, 2025.
