The Last of Ushas finally premiered on HBO Max with a banger first episode. Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey give stunning performances in the pilot, making every fan cheer for the upcoming episodes. The series steps out of the comfort and the shadow of the game to verify that the adaptation is accurate, yet unique in its own way.

The built-up anticipation of the show finally comes to an end and ultimately proves to be worth the wait seeing the massive appreciation that the show is currently receiving. While the casting had been questioned when first announced, the first episode very easily proved that no other individual could have better played Ellie and Joel if not Ramsey and Pascal.

Neil Druckmann, the creator of the show has gone out of his way to congratulate and praise the cast and crew for their incredible job and the hard work that they put in.

Playing the role of Ellie and Joel is a big step and a very difficult task to go through. However, bothPedro PascalandBella Ramseyhave outdone themselves. They have received a lot of praise for their acting. There had been a time when a lot of fans had been giving negative comments towards the show and the actors, these too have been reduced and only positive reviews are the ones that now rise.
Druckmann went out of his way to congratulate his cast and how wonderful they had all been. He commends them and the effort they put in, leading to the series being an already massive hit. The story has already proven to be something that could live up to the game itself. Bella Ramsey received a lot of backlash lately due to the actor coming out as gender-fluid.

The hype that the series had created led to it having a lot of stakes and weightage. What the series was to bring relied a lot on what the fans expected. It is safe to say that not only has it met their expectations, but it has surpassed them by a lot.
