Since it was revealed that Stallone was putting together a group of the most renowned and fearsome action heroes forThe Expendables,fans were eagerly speculating about the actors who would share the screen with the charismatic leading man.

Moreover,Arnold Schwarzeneggerhad many cameo roles throughout his long and successful career, some of which were un-credited. Among them was Stallone’s 2010 action film,The Expendables.
During a 2012 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the former Governor of Californiaenthralled critics with the tale of how he accepted Stallone’s invitation to play a small part inThe Expendables.

Speaking of a gig he did without being paid, the actor recalled how he accepted Stallone’s offer:
“You don’t have to call my agents, I make the decisions.”
The movie eventually brought in more than $224 million worldwide at the box office.

Will Arnold Schwarzenegger be InThe Expendables 4?
Even though the cast may be coming back together forThe Expendables 4, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Trench will reportedly not be there.
Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, Sylvester Stallone and Schwarzenegger were the faces of action movies, and they often engaged in competitions to see who could amass the most impressive physique, the biggest paycheck, etc. This could be one of the reasons why, at their height, they never starred in a film together.
Although Schwarzenegger has not stated why he will not be inThe Expendables 4,the reason may be found in remarks he made about the third film(The Expendables 3).
In 2017, Stallone took a brief break from filmingThe Expendables 4, and Schwarzenegger declared he would not continue the franchise without his friend, telling EW that:
“There is no Expendables without Sly.”
In addition, Schwarzenegger said that despite thinking “the first and second ones were terrific,” he did not enjoy the Trench character inThe Expendables 3.
