“I was talking to my mom the other night and she said, ‘I just saw the best movie called ‘Apollo 13.’ I said, ‘Mom, I turned that down for ‘Seven’ and wait until you see the movie,’”Pitt told  The Morning Call.

Fincher’s second movieSeventurned out to be one of the most celebrated thrillers of all time, many critics consideredSevena masterpiece. Pitt never shies away from giving enough credit to Fincher for directing his career path.“One of the big pinnacles for me, one of the big moments, was meeting David Fincher,”Pitt told Leonard Maltin once.

“I’ve had a couple of experiences on films, where it wasn’t what I expected. And then, I met my dear friend David Fincher, who was talking films, in a way that was much more articulate than I was … I found direction, that way. That was a big moment.”
